In July, Shasta Daisy produces large flowers, suitable for cutting. The plants need some support to keep them from falling over. Grow the plants in a sunny location.
Propagation is by division in early fall or spring. Save only pieces from the outer part of the clump as these are younger and more vigorous.
'Aglaya' - Large, double white flowers on sturdy stems, to 28 inches (70 cm) tall.
'Alaska' - Large, single white flowers.
'Barbara Bush' - Foliage has a gold margin.
'Beaute Nivelloise' - The flowers are produced on sturdy stems that may not need support.
'Becky' - Large, late, single flowers.
'Cobham Gold' - Yellow flowers with deeper yellow centers, 18 inches (45 cm) tall.
'Little Miss Muffet' - Semi-double, three-inch (7.5 cm) flowers on 12-inch (30 cm) tall plants.
'Little Princess' - Compact one-foot (30 cm) plants produce large, single flowers.
'Marconi' - A 2 foot (60 cm) tall plant with each flower having an additional row of white flowers.
'May Queen' - Single, white flowers.
'Northern Lights' - White flowers on 24-inch (60 cm) stems.
'Polar Sun' - The white petals are unusually fringed.
'Polaris' - Large white flowers.
'Silver Princess' - White, semi-double flowers on a dwarf plant 18 inches (45 cm) tall.
'Snow Bouquet' - White flowers on 24-inch (60 cm) stems.
'Snow Lady' - A dwarf less than one foot (30 cm) tall.
'Snowcap' - A dwarf habit is combined with long lasting, pure white flowers.
'Snowdrift' - White, semi-double flowers on stems up to 30 inches (75 cm) tall.
'Snowlady' - Large white flowers on stems only 10 inches (25 cm) tall.
'Starburst' - Six inch (15 cm) white flowers are produced on sturdy stems.
'Thomas Killen' - Good cultivar for cut flowers. Large, single flowers with gold centers.
